KSIEI Launches 2025 Tree Campaign: Our Collective Effort Toward Climate Action

August 6, 2025 The Kubur Sasilka Innovation & Environmental Initiative (KSIEI) officially launched its 2025 Tree Campaign today with a passionate call for collective action toward climate resilience. The flag-off event took place at Behind Bakassi GRA, bringing together community leaders, environmental advocates, and residents committed to safeguarding Borno’s environment. The event was honored by a keynote remark from Mr. Samson Mshelia, Executive Director of KSIEI, who emphasized the urgency of communal effort in combating the adverse effects of climate change. “It is crucial that we rally together, renew our commitment, and intensify our actions to mitigate and adapt to climate change impacts in Our Communities and Borno State at Large” Mr. Mshelia stated.
